How measured. Per racket the lowest price at a shop that has it in stock and delivers to the EU, without shipping, checked in the last three days. Only groups with at least 5 rackets. Level is what the brand says the racket is for. Newer models cost more partly because older ones are on sale; this is a snapshot, not a trend.

How measured. EU: shops that deliver to at least one of the ten EU countries padell.io covers. NL + BE and DE + AT: shops that deliver to one of those two countries. The English page shows EU prices, the Dutch and German pages their own market.
Recommended price or street price?
Across 127 rackets with a recommended price in euros, the lowest shop price is 31% below it.
How measured. Middle discount per brand: 1 minus lowest price divided by the recommended price. Only brands whose recommended price is in euros and with at least 5 rackets for sale. Many brands publish their recommended price in pounds or dollars; those are left out, because converting would add an exchange rate the brand never set.
What changes between generations?
10 of 48 steps from one version to the next in the same line change nothing in the published specs. In 4 only the face changes, in 5 only the surface.

How measured. Each racket is compared with the previous version in the same line, field by field. A field only counts as changed when both versions publish it and the values differ. A field that one of the two does not publish is not counted as a change, so the real number of changes can be higher. Weight counts as one field.
How much do shops differ?
For the same racket the most expensive shop usually asks € 31 more than the cheapest (25%). That is the middle value over 159 rackets sold by at least two shops.

How measured. Per racket and shop the lowest in-stock price, without shipping. Rackets where the dearest shop asks more than twice the cheapest are left out: that is almost always a different version, not a real price gap. The three biggest shops are the three with the most rackets in stock for this market. When two shops ask the same lowest price, the smaller shop counts.

How measured. Shape in four groups; brand names like Cybershape or Allround fall under hybrid. Weight is the middle of the range the brand gives: light under 355 g, heavy from 370 g. Balance only from the label the brand uses, never from millimetres. Core hardness from how the brand describes the foam. The K-number counts carbon threads per bundle; it says nothing on its own about stiffness.

How measured. A spec counts as published when padell.io found it at the brand or at a shop. The brand ranking uses seven specs that differ between brands: weight range, surface, frame, thickness, handle length, balance point in mm and head size. Brands with at least 5 rackets.
